Centenary University celebrated its 143rd Commencement on Saturday. The skies cooperated on the front lawn of the Edward W. Seay Administration Building where more than 450 associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees were given out. Commencement speaker, Jen Pace ’09, senior manager of preschool production and development at Nickelodeon, illustrated how far you can go in the job market with a Centenary degree in a relatively short time. In fact, 9 months after commencement, 95% of Centenary graduates are employed or attending graduate school.
Lisa Baldwin, presidential spouse, was presented with the Dominick V. Romano Volunteer Award and Rebecca Clinebell ’18 accepted the Welsh Award. Meghan Kolbusch ’18 delivered the valedictory address.
