HACKETTSTOWN, NJ, June 15, 2023 — Three Centenary University students were recognized for excellence at the New Jersey Distinguished Clinical and Cooperating Teachers Awards Ceremony, which was held at Rider University on June 7. The awards are co-sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Education and the New Jersey Association of Colleges for Teacher Education.\
The annual event lauds the top 60 clinical interns—three each from New Jersey’s educator preparation programs. Centenary University students honored this year are:
· Kevin Biedukiewicz of Phillipsburg, NJ, the recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in Education: Social Studies, summa cum laude
· Andrew Mount of Long Valley, NJ, the recipient of a Bachelor of Science in Education: Mathematics
· Jeanne Roll of Alpha, NJ, the recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in Education: Liberal Arts, magna cum laude
Centenary University offers undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in education at its campus in Hackettstown, as well as at 75 professional development sites in northern New Jersey. More than 100 principals, superintendents, directors, or supervisors—including most of the principals in Warren County—have, or are currently earning, a Centenary University degree, providing outstanding networking opportunities for the University’s graduates.
