HACKETTSTOWN, NJ, April 21, 2022—Centenary University will host a Spring Community Employment Expo for members of the community, alumni, and students to connect with employers who are seeking to hire local talent. The event will take place on Friday, April 29, from 12:30 pm to 4 pm at the David and Carol Lackland Center, 715 Grand Ave., on the University’s Hackettstown campus.

The employment day will feature representatives of larger companies, nonprofits, and small businesses, who will meet with job seekers. Residents of Warren, Sussex, and Morris counties, as well as Centenary University alumni and students, are invited to attend. A panel discussion called Women in Business will begin at 4 pm.

“Our community boasts a rich pool of highly-qualified job applicants, including many Centenary University graduates and soon-to-be-alumni,” noted Bruce Murphy, Ed.D., president of Centenary University. “This job fair is just one of the many ways we are fulfilling the University’s strategic plan to strengthen Centenary’s place as the intellectual, economic, and cultural heart of the Skylands Region.”
