How to apply


Note: International students must submit proof of English language proficiency and a completed Certification of Finances Form. An application fee should also be included. Students are also required to submit an essay in addition to a letter of recommendation. For more complete information, international students should contact the Admissions Office.


Freshmen


  1. Complete the Centenary University online application. For international students, a modest application fee applies.

  2. Provide us with a copy of your passport

  3. Upload your unofficial high school transcript (translated in English) via the application portal. Your high school should also mail an official sealed transcript to Centenary University. Note: For all high school transcripts not in English, submit to WES (World Education Services) wes.org for evaluation and authentication. Centenary University’s code is 2080.

  4. Two letters of recommendation from previous faculty.

  5. Certification of English proficiency - official TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo examination results.

  6. Provide financial documentation on financial institution letterhead stating that you have sufficient funds to cover your first year’s stay at Centenary University. This is the amount needed for tuition, room and board, and general fees.

  7. Equine students pay an additional fee per semester.

  8. All international students are required to purchase the university’s health insurance.


Graduate

We take time to get to know you and help you get the most of your education. We are here to answer your questions and help you with any non-academic issues. You will have access to English as a Second Language classes and tutoring for the entire time at Centenary.
