Working B.A. in Psychology
If you’re working full time but always wanted your bachelor’s degree, consider the Working BA in Psychology from Centenary University! This fully online, accelerated 120-credit program allows a student to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 1-3 years. Graduates learn the foundation of psychology that will fully prepare you for gainful employment in your career, and/or a good basis for acceptance into a Master’s program in Psychology.
The student receives one-on-one attention from their professors and advisors. Students can take advantage of weekly, non-mandatory meetings with the professors of each class. Professors have office hours that are specific for each course. You will also have access to professors if you want to conduct independent research. It’s not ‘education on your own’ – it’s education with the full support of Centenary University faculty and advisors, wellness center, career development, and the broad network of relationships that come from attending Centenary University.
The program is an accelerated program (8 weeks per course) with asynchronous, online classes plus one hour of office hours that will provide the student contact, clarity, and support. The classes all have recorded lectures as well as reading assignments. Students can take four classes per semester (up to 16 credits).
This 120-credit program can be achieved in 3 years full-time or 1.5 years for transfer students.
Timeline
The Working B.A. in Psychology program is an accelerated program (8 weeks per course) comprised of asynchronous, online classes with one hour of office hours. The classes all have recorded lectures as well as reading assignments. You can take up to four classes per semester (up to 16 credits).
Graduating students will be eligible to pursue careers including mental health positions, residential staff, HR employees, case workers, support staff, research assistants, advertising, probation, parole, career counselors, sales representatives, or customer relations professionals.
