For students holding a master’s degree, Centenary University offers a special 12-credit program that allows you to complete the coursework needed to earn your Supervisor certification from the New Jersey Department of Education.
Supervisor licensure allows you to be employed as a supervisor of instruction and an athletic director (for those who do not hold a Principal’s certification) as well as an assistant superintendent in charge of curriculum or instruction.
To receive the Supervisor endorsement, the state requires you earn a master’s degree and complete coursework in curriculum, assessment and supervision. You can meet those course requirements through Centenary’s program by completing only four classes.
