Readers of influential business publication also selected Centenary University as the state’s second best college/university and accounting degree program.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ, Nov. 30, 2022—Centenary University’s Master of Business Administration has been voted New Jersey’s best MBA by readers of NJBIZ, an influential business publication that covers the state. In addition, the University was named the state’s second best college/university and accounting degree program in the 2022 NJBIZ Reader Rankings.

Centenary’s placements in this year’s rankings reflect the excellence of the University’s academic programs and the high level of satisfaction of alumni and students, said David Dauwalder, Ph.D., interim vice president for academic affairs. “These rankings demonstrate the pride students and alumni feel for Centenary University,” he said.

This University offers outstanding academic opportunities that propel our graduates to career success and provide employers with a highly-skilled workforce in business, healthcare, education, equine studies, and many other in-demand fields.

The University’s MBA and accounting degrees recognized by NJBIZ are two degrees that are widely valued by employers. Centenary offers several flexible MBA programs to accommodate working adults, including a self-paced option and an accelerated 14-month MBA. In addition, the 4+1 BS/MBA permits qualified Centenary undergraduates to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Business Administration in five years. The University’s 150-credit accounting and finance degree, which can be earned in four years, qualifies Centenary students to sit for the CPA (certified public accounting) exam right after graduation. Also, Centenary offers a seven-course sequence of eight-week online courses designed to prepare students to sit for the certified financial planning (CFP) exam.
