Hartpury Experience - Mara Purnel ('21)

Studying abroad at Hartpury University was a great opportunity. I got the chance to meet so many new people and jump outside of my comfort zone. I loved the riding program and all the different horses they had at Hartpury. My favorite part was getting to travel to thirteen different countries and immerse myself in all the different cultures/food. A fellow Centenary student and I even got to go see the Spanish Riding School and tour the barn in Vienna, Austria. I remember learning about the prestigious Spanish Riding School in one of my freshman year equine classes. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to try something new for a semester!

Hartpury Experience - Emily Valerio ('20)

Studying at Hartpury University was an amazing experience. I met many new people and learned valuable information from the professors in all the classes I took. There was a lot of adjusting to do and the curriculum was much different but it was definitely something I would do again. While I was there I traveled to 12 different countries with another Centenary student and through this I was able to experience a myriad of unique cultures. I believe immersing yourself in different parts of the world is so important for everyone to experience at least once in their life, so I would recommend this program to anyone!

Hartpury Experience - Kayla Felstedt ('13)

“My experience [at Hartpury] was awesome! I learned so much and they had a lot of opportunities that I wouldn't be able to experience anywhere else! It helped me to grow and have a more worldly view of the horse industry.”

Home away from home - Ashley Reimel ('09)

“Hartpury College is very much like a home away from home. The support I have received during my transition to, not only a new school but a new country, has been fantastic! Hartpury staff are always so positive, which has been very motivating during my stay. I plan to rise to the challenge academically and embrace the chance to gain my own independence. It gives me great pleasure to persuade anyone to join the Study Abroad program at Hartpury.”

Best experience of my life - Heather Bowen ('09)

“The Study Abroad program here at Hartpury College has been the best experience of my life and has been simply unforgettable. I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and travel to so many beautiful places. I have grown as a person, a friend, a student and, most of all, it has shown me that life is what you make of it and to make the most of it.”
